Unsatisfied with dominating the catwalk and reminding everyone how she ruled the '90s and continues to reign supreme in the world of fashion, Naomi Campbell is making history at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. The venerable (and beloved) institution will host an exhibit chronicling the life and times of the Streatham-born super, aptly titled NAOMI. Elle notes that it's the very first time the museum has given a model the honor of a career retrospective. In the past, the museum has held major exhibitions for names like style and music icons David Bowie and Kylie Minogue.

NAOMI is set to be stuffed to the gills with select pieces from Campbell’s own wardrobe as well as an additional 100 looks that featured on the runways when she stomped for labels like Alexander McQueen, Chanel, and Vivienne Westwood. Naturally, the museum will feature the 1993 ankle-breaking, vertigo-inducing #Westwood heels that (in)famously made Cambpell trip on the runway — those shoes happen to be part of the museum's permanent collection.

After the news broke, Naomi wrote a sweet message on Instagram: "I'm honoured to be asked by the V&A to share my life in clothes with the world. The V&A's fashion collection is one of the largest collections in the world, and it is a blessing to work with them to share my story."
The Victoria & Albert Museum will host NAOMI from June 22, 2024, through Apr. 6, 2025.
